on Released Lemurs: THIRD GROUP

The
third release group consists of Hale and her sons.
Hale
was born in 1993 and originally came from Santa Ana Zoo and spent
two years free-ranging at Duke University Primate Center. During
that time, she had three sons.
The
sons are Kintana, born in 1999, and the twins Masoandro and Tany,
born in 2000.
All
four of these animals are doing well and Hale
has reproduced with a wild Varecia male!
